WEEKLY ACTIVITY SUMMARY (NOVEMBER/ DECEMBER 2017)

Below are all the activities that I've done throughout my Industrial Training from November till December.







WEEK 1 (27/11/2017 - 30/11/2017)

• Reporting at Venture Ideal Renovation Sdn Bhd to Mrs. Moon.

• Introduction on 'How to use AutoCount' for accounting purposes explained by Mrs Moon.

• Learned how to key in Tax Invoice and Receipt in the AutoCount.

• Distinguished GST type (SR or ZR) 

• Visited site at Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur and Tropicana, Petaling Jaya.

WEEK 2 (4/12/2017 - 9/12/2017)

• Classifying and arranging invoices and receipt.

• Laminated plywood door with veneer laminate.

• Made a list of area needed to be measure to make layout plan.

• Measuring office pantry.

• Visited site at D' Laman Greenville.

• Researched on how to draw a layout plan and design theme suitable for pantry.

WEEK 3 (12/12/2017 - 16/12/2017)

• Trying out different colour theme suitable for pantry. Decided on 'Natural' theme.

• Visited site at Oriental Kingdom (My Dream Wedding), Pudu, Kuala Lumpur.

• Completed 2 designs for pantry using IKEA Design Software (http://kitchenplanner.ikea.com/CA/UI/Pages/VPUI.htm?Lang=en-CA)

• Submitted project drawing done at Politeknik to Boss for evaluation.

• Tried to redraw the pantry design using AutoCad.

• Measured the components that will be included in the drawing (i.e: Fridge, sink, stove)

• Boss asked to make floor plan layout and design for office area (since we just moved the office from Kampung Subang to Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh)

• Learned how to draw layout in AutoCad using Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOGzf_Myxmc)
• Researched on windows and doors symbol used in interior architecture drawing.

WEEK 4 (18/12/2017 - 23/12/2017)

• Measured all office area (Pantry, Main Office, Office 2, Staff's Office), windows and doors, and furniture
• Completed and submitted Office Area layout plan
• Continued on November account update
• Arranged receipts and invoices for filing
• Made correction on submitted layout plan after it checked by Mr Joshua

• Include orthographic (top, side, front view) drawing for each pieces of furniture in the layout plan
• Completed all table drawings

WEEK 5 (26/12/2017 - 30/12/2017)

• Finished drawing all cabinet in the layout plan.
• Started to annotate all cabinet and table drawings.

               *Note: All cabinet have 'base' and 'top' skirt (Base= 100mm, Top=70mm)
